19 February 2012:
We have been getting numerous requests for SLI / Crossfire support and the ability to compare overclocked GPU specs (memory speed, clock speed) -- so as of today, the
compare graphics cards tool now has an advanced options bar that will let you estimate Crossfire / SLI performance, as well as overclocked performance of all of the GPUs in our database.
19 December 2011:
We have just added the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 600 series to the database, so you can get an idea of how the new line will compare with AMD Radeon HD 7000 series cards as well as last years best graphics cards. Some of the
specifications may be subject to change as release draws near. We will make every attempt to insure the accuracy of the data. Please let us know if you find an error in the specifications for any of the GPUs. We plan
to add the mobile version of the GPUs soon.
14 December 2011:
We now have a blog here at Graphics Card Benchmarks! We will be posting articles and news related to GPUs and Graphics Cards frequently starting this week. Head on over and check out our first post
"The Best Graphics Card: Top 10 Graphics Cards in Q1 2012".
We also just fixed a major bug in the
graphics card comparison tool where the graphs and table were not displaying some of the older GPUs data. We apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused.
13 December 2011:
We have just added a new section to the site called "
Top 50 Best Graphics Cards of 2012". We want to
maximize exposure, and for whatever reason, more people search for "best graphics cards" than "graphics card benchmarks". So, to make it easy on the average Joe, we have created a single page containing graphs and tables
containing everything anyone should need to know about the best graphics cards going into 2012. While we still think the
compare graphics cards tool is the coolest thing invented since toilet paper,
some people just like to see everything on a nice, easy to read graph. Hurray for the best of both worlds! As always, please let us know if you run into problems or have suggestions.
8 December 2011:
So it looks like the new site design is doing very well. We've managed to cut the bounce rate in half and double the page views, so glad to see everyone appears to
be able to utilize the graphics card tools better.
We are currently looking into useful ways to grow and expand the Graphics Card Benchmarks site, so if you have ideas or suggestions about what you would like to see, new tools, changes to existing tools, or anything else, please
email us at "inbox@GraphicsCardBenchmarks.com" with your suggestions and feedback.
5 December 2011:
We have just finished a complete site redesign which is hopefully easier to navigate. The site has expanded from a single page database-dump style format out to multiple pages and tools.
We have made it simpler to compare any two graphics cards (or run a graphics card comparison of up to 10 graphics cards) for those looking to make purchasing decisions. It is also much simpler now to
create custom graphs and tables that display graphics card benchmarks and hardware specifications. In addition, we have revamped the in game FPS (frame rate)
tool that will estimate the framerate you will get with another graphics card. It now displays FPS differences instead of raw FPS. Aside from the site redesign,
we are also experimenting with some WebGL benchmarking utilities (check it out on our menu) that will allow users to benchmark their GPU on the web.
We recently added the un-released ATI Radeon HD 7000 cards to our database, so you will be able to see how they should perform pre-release. These cards will show
up on the graphs and in the graphics card tables. We are trying dilligently to get the NVIDIA GTX 600 series as well.
